January was a mighty rollercoaster for many, surely February won't continue in the same vein?

My last Media.Net stats are from February 5. I just wrote to my account manager to find out why.

I am still in need of a parachute. Checking the ads on my pages, I found out that the most relevant ones are at the bottom of my pages and the non relevant on top. No wonder CPC, and click through are down. IS there a way to get the matching ads in your prime spots?

It's an every day feature now.

I've never seen a red bar in my AdSense reports
The only message I consistently see on my "Performance Reports" page is a blurb at the top that reads "One goal of Matched content is to increase user engagement. Your page RPM and other metrics might be affected by this increase." (I've been seeing this ever since I signed up for the Matched Content beta a few months ago.)

Editorial Guy When you get a red bar it's right above the Matched content message. The bar is red and the message is "We're sorry, some data in this report is delayed, please try again later. There's no impact to ad serving or payments."
They've been happening with greater frequency in 2016.

@They've been happening with greater frequency in 2016.
Like everyday to every other day now haha.
It's a permanent feature I presume.
But nevertheless the data is still more up to dated than some of the other networks that I have experienced. Many update their stats once a day.

@KaseyM, I've had this red bar almost every day since the beginning of February. Something unnormal is happenning all the time with Adsense...Fortunately, RPM is growing from day to day and this makes me think optimistic!

Has anyone discerned a pattern for the "red bar"? Is it more commonly seen by site owners of certain nationalities,or with certain types of sites? Or could it simply be a matter of luck (John Doe's account is on a flaky server, and Jane Buck's isn't)?

Usually when one person here reports a red bar here, others report that they have a red bar too. But we're a very small sample. I don't know if there's a pattern. What I have noticed is that RPM is increasing and there seems to be a realistic recovery after the red bars in February.

Yeah, I'm getting the red bar consistently in the morning.
Hey, I got a click from Israel this evening that added almost $70 to the estimated earnings. If that goes away, I'll be bummed. Perhaps this is a sign that the value of clicks that come from outside the U.S. will be lucrative once more.
My January and February earnings are down by more than half compared to last year. U.S. clicks and traffic are down a little, but from everywhere else the RPM is way down.

Has anyone discerned a pattern for the "red bar"?
For me it is usually early afternoon UK time, about 4-5 hours following an AdSense start day and usually lasts up to 2-4 hours.
Yesterday was a new one for me at the beginning of an AdSense day, meaning midnight onwards at The Plex.
Similarly I had one last week late evening my time, lunchtime at The Plex.
(John Doe's account is on a flaky server, and Jane Buck's isn't)?
That seems to be the most likely explanation with them unable to update the data. I know I used to be on a very flaky server since I used to have some serious data loss days when AdSense did not correlate with my own logs. I had one of those days last week however that was the first one in ages that's been obvious..

I would suggest that it's a problem with AdSense when we get the red bar since everybody seems to have it at the same time. Also, we are not in the same country and we are all using different servers and hosts so I don't think you can blame it on individual hosting companies.

No one is saying that, the problem, whatever it may be, is with the thousands of servers Google has. No matter how reliable a server is, statistically they will have issues/problems at some time, however it's interesting that EG has never seen a red bar whereas some of us are experiencing it on a daily basis.
Does Google put higher-trafficked sites on different and more reliable servers for instance?

Red Bar here too - US. My RPM is pretty good. Could Adsense be doing this to halt reporting so they can take back clicks without anyone being able to see it?

So far today earnings and everything else are looking very good for the time of year. If there is an earnings dump because of delayed reporting I'll be well pleased.

Once again - the Media.net ad reporting is down because Bing Ads reporting has been down for near a week. It's just coming back now.
As for red bars - it seems to be happening more nowadays. But how often you see it probably depends on how often you check your stats, and where. I don't think there is a red bar in the app even when it shows on the desktop version.
