I remember the old days when the only search engine was your local library. Remember those? ;)

Perhaps I'm an old dinosaur, but I still love good ole fashioned libraries, and the musty smell of an old book. :)

My traffic got hit starting Wednesday and today (Thursday) but for some odd reason my earnings are still up -- way up. I don't understand why traffic was down. Is there a holiday on Wednesday, October 17?

I'm down by over 25% this month, traffic hasn't changed. I've given up even trying to figure it out.

I am not aware of any holiday that is on a wednesday.

Thursday turned out to be the best day of the year for me.

BTW, where is she?

I'm around. Every now and then this place pisses me off to the point where I need to step away* (lest I say something that will really light some fireworks). This was one of those times.

Just got a $19 single click. Wonder if that one will stick. Came from a simple tiny link unit.

As an advertiser (on behalf of clients) I get reimbursed every month in varying degrees.

I did have one $9 link unit click once that stuck. That was a first. And last.

My $19 click is still hanging in there. Will see if it's still there in the morning. Would certainly be a record for me, though I'd also settle for $9 clicks. :)

I'm seeing very bad numbers for the last few days. Perhaps the fact that I'm seeing ads in German on my English site (I don't speak German) is to blame?

Very high cpc today. I predict another above average day. Two months and counting of high earnings. I'm grateful. I hope it never stops! Thanks, Goog!

Low Sadsense days on this end - worst month since a long time.

Advertisement slump clearly noticeable - they're holding budgets back big time.

Google's -20% doesn't surprise me at all - the start of a continuing decline...... Yahoo where are you?

I'll see - estimated earnings and actual earnings have always been within 1%, though this month I'm down 50% due to the new algo.

Me too, it sucks. I'll be very surprised to get anywhere near a normal month's earnings this time around.

v 1st-20th Sept I'm at 89.27%, not good, this is traditionally one of my higher months and this reduction is due to a 87.1% EPC since clicks are actually 101.8%

Page views so far are 87.46% therefore the Panduin twins have definitely affected me and this reduction is 100% my Coppermine Gallery...what the hell are they up to?

Well I neglected one set of sites in a niche in order to vastly improve another set of sites in another niche, and I'm paying for it this fall - traffic and earnings on that set are way down from the last two years. Some of them might have been Pandalyzed, but they never did get much traffic, so it's hard to tell. I did expect it; the sites are very thin (mostly placeholders), but it still stings a bit. But as long as they bring in enough to cover their expenses, I'm ok with letting them wait till next year.

I'm still at about 210% of last year (and it's only October) though, and we're working on some improvements for the neglected for next year. Plus some improvements for the way successful ones as well.

And I have an idea for an app too. I just don't know a lot about the whole app market.

Lots to do.

Can you make one that will tazer people in the ears till their eyes melt, for people who drive whilst on the phone? I'll fund it if need be.
