Oh heck, here we go into what is, for many of us, traditionally the worst month of the year. Any bets for when the big drop in earnings starts...20th/21st December?

All my other revenues are B&M derived with orders being placed many months before, in some cases years in advance.
Writing that this period is usually the quietest for my widgets regarding enquiries in the "Christian" world however yesterday and today I have received several substantial enquiries and I was really, really surprised when I found one of my Spanish suppliers at work today.
I wonder how many others in my industry received an enquiry from Kuwait and had it quoted for within three hours?

This is a first! Yesterdays estimated earnings changed since this morning. It went up? Usually things go down, and I have never seen previous days adjust suddenly.

WTF! Now Yesterdays earnings dropped? Why are yesterdays earnings fluctuating so much?

Boing...Tuesday's earnings went back to early December norms, in fact the last three days have been normal earnings. Confused? I will be by the end of this month Jessica:-)

December 2011 is now my highest earning month of all time. I imagine it will go down a little in January.

Same for me, but a rough landing is possible in January and February.

I didn't want to say anything before. But even though figures have been parlous for quite awhile now these are minutes old figures for the last seven days. In $$$$ terms, this time of year, not shabby at all.
Whatever happened in the last "minor" Panda iteration seems to have helped me and the big increase in EPC quite is startling.
How has your December been?

According to Search Engine Land, the last "official" Panda update was Nov 18. They also report an official Google tweet on Dec 14 that read: "Search weather report: no major Panda updates until the new year. Context: goo.gl/XqLuN".
So, something to dread or look fwd to in 2012. How has my December been? Best ever (since May '07), having broken my monthly rev record (Aug '08) on the 29th. January will fall off and Feb even more, as always, but at least I'm looking down from a higher plateau.
Happy New Year to all, I wish you peace, prosperity, and protection from the Panda in 2012!

Happy new year everyone.
2011 it's over and it was 121% of 2010. I had an increase of 21% over the last year. The long story short of my 2011:
- Had really low days - Daily earnings were not stable anymore, too many fluctuations - 2 strong episodes of taffic increase with no impact on earnings - One site went dead completely after panda (pure original content) - My strongest site went down but not dead
I would have lower income if it wasn't because of my best website. This one was never loved by Adsense, it has everything, pure content and images, very well positioned but never good earnings. My competitors loved my site because they copied a lot from it, I sent a few scrapper complains because of that. But things changed after Panda, the site went up. This site makes the difference over the year, I worked HARD for 5 years and was almost about giving up, in fact I lower my efforts but the hard work was worth it.
