Oh heck, here we go into what is, for many of us, traditionally the worst month of the year. Any bets for when the big drop in earnings starts...20th/21st December?

Impressions climb, all else stuck. CTR in the crapper.

CTR in the crapper.

Abysmal, one of my lowest click volume days of the year beating Thanksgiving by only 2 clicks!

Couple of non-fantastic days, then yesterday was amazing, and if today's reports are anything to go on, and continues in the same vane, I think I will smash a new record.

November - December have always been the best months for my site.

Overall, income from my site is down 50% on average since the Panda iterations. Though still down 50% from last year, Nov and the beginning of Dec. were up from the previous months. Then, three days ago, bang! Income and CTR tanked. I didn't think it could get much lower but I was wrong.

Did something happening three days ago?

Thank you in advance for any insights.

If I remember correctly there was a Panda update 3 - 5 days ago...

Thank you for the info.

Oh boy. Google hates my site. If my income gets any lower I may have to close it down.

Yesterday and today back to their old awesome selves in terms of revenue: normal traffic, high-average revenue. Not relieved yet. I want to get through December, especially through the second half of the month.

nice big fat clicks but low ctr still destroying the perfect image..

Quite simply my click volume, CTR and earnings are now at 50% of just a couple of weeks ago with Page Impressions normal.

Compared to December 2010, when I was seriously contemplating removing AdSense, earnings are at 25%.

I can feel a divorce coming along! Yep, I know December for me is the lowest month however this will be my worst month...ever.

Husky! You're leaving me? No! This place wouldn't be the same without you!

Ok then, a trial separation?

Everything will depend on what happens the first week of January 2012, going by previous years AdSense has picked up well however I have my doubts this time, it just seems as though there is an almost total click collapse in my sector.

My average EPC is still ok and impressions are holding up, my ads seem to be fine so why the sudden 50% drop? This is the second time this year I have had a 50% overnight reduction therefore I can only point my finger at the one thing I have absolutely no control over...Google.

The month was humming along nicely until Friday when RPM dropped by half, and it's still down by that much today. What did/didn't I do? Haven't heard of any recent Panda updates so I'm hoping it's just a temporary blip.

This may sound anal but I colour-code my daily earnings spreadsheet in 5 bands just so that I can see at a quick glance how different months compare - white, yellow, green, orange, red.

For a long time my monthly average was yellow. In March this year the average went to green for the first time. It dropped back slightly in April but went back to green in May and has been green ever since.

November was a record month (not quite orange) and I was wondering if my earnings had peaked. December so far has been solid orange and red. If the rest of the month continues this way, December will be red and beat the record month I've just in November had by about 60%.

Most of the posts here seem quite downbeat. I was downbeat at the start of the year but this year has turned out to be my best ever - even before the year is out.

I stopped messing around with ad formats a while ago, cleared out my competitive ad filter, made all my ads text and image, and have just been concentrating on content. Compared to the beginning of the year, page impressions are up by about 30%, CTR by about 10%, and average EPC by about 20%.

I can't quite believe the last few months and I'm sure it won't last, but I'm enjoying the ride at the moment.

What a strange Saturday and Sunday with impressions and clicks down but EPC up considerably however Sunday's impressions per visitor were well down compared to average yet uniques were up considerably according to my logs.

Tis the crazy season!

Flatlined today. Either they haven't woken up yet or they've banjaxed something else.

I am up 3x since last year this month. I am on paced for about 10% more than last month. December is usually my best month too. Feeling so good right now.

Jaideemaak u are correct. Just adding content and working on my sites has helpme make more money. If things keep going like this I can retire right now.

Yuck...0.72% CTR so far today, that's 35% of a year ago and so far 14.6% of the click volume.

Wednesday was my best day of the month with nice high paying clicks and better ctr.

HuskyPup

Garbage, utter garbage, second-worst click volume day of the year saved only by an average EPC otherwise it could have been my worst day ever. CTR ended up at 0.81% being 73% of December's average so far.
