Oh heck, here we go into what is, for many of us, traditionally the worst month of the year. Any bets for when the big drop in earnings starts...20th/21st December?

What on earth is going on? So far today CTR at 1.53% however EPC 48%, something is seriously askew!

Is it just me, or has Google stopped correcting Estimated Earnings in real time? I haven't seen any adjustments to the updated figures on my EE page in quite some time.
As for Thursday, looks like a typical day for me that started slow and picks up steam later. Yesterday was the 3rd best day so far in a month that (knock on wood) is on track to be my best-earning in 4.5 years with Adsense.

By the looks of my metrics December's gone for me, UK CTR was 0.00%, US CTR was 70% of average however EPC was only 67% therefore earnings were 57%. Page views for Australia were only 27% yet India was almost normal...you can tell the vast majority there don't bother with this Xmas farce!
I'm easily on track for my worst month ever.

Its been a below average month here, majority of the traffic UK based.
I think the fact that sales are down in general is having an affect. Bad times in the economy, let's not forget that.

Looks like banjax central has been messing with the controls again. Stats seem to die from late morning (GMT) until around 1800 Hrs.

Totally and utterly screwed...CTR 0.78% with an EPC of 40%...R.I.P. AdSense...Hopefully you'll be resurrected in January, if not I'll be replacing you with my own ads, it's as simple as that.

Something strange today - CTR one tenth of normal - hope it doesnt stay that way.

Rollercoaster ride so far this month. :p Up and down, up and down. Traffic is at an all time high while RPM is tanking. End of the year blahs? I didn't expect that until after Christmas...

And give up all the excitement
Well, I knew that December was going to be bad, just not quite this bad, quite simply AdSense impressions are not aligned as they usually are with my own logs which makes me wonder if they're losing data somewhere...that would hardly be a surprise the way they constantly screw around with things.
W/C 9th January will be the indicator for me whether to replace AdSense across some or all sites. If it doesn't pick up that week I think I'll be pretty much be able to say that the ride has finished and left the amusement park.

It would appear that G is being very selective with which clicks they count and which ones they don't. I track everything across my sites including adsense clicks and for sometime, I have noticed that clicks from certain countries and IP's just do not appear in the stats.
Countries from which clicks are not attributed include India, Indonesia and the Philippines to name but a few. In addition, clicks from any IP's that are anything to do with educational establishments in the US (school districts, colleges or universities) never seem to make it to our adsense stats either. The result of course is what appears to be a lousy CTR when in reality, the clicks are there but are not being counted. Whether the advertisers are still being charged is another question entirely!
Although I am physically in the UK, our sites across various niches are aimed at a worldwide audience and hosted in the US. Having been reading these threads (but never posting until now) for longer than I care to remember, one thing that is very obvious is that when CTR and RPM dies for one in the UK and/or Europe, we all seem to go down together.

They are scrubbing clicks like crazy some days.
We went 5 hours without a single click in the middle of the day on Wednesday. This is impossible. Never caught up overnight because maybe their click reporting was behind. Ads showing, sites ok, impressions normal. Thursday, back to normal. Today, same thing. we haven't been credited a click for hours.
Bad luck is one thing. But this is simply an impossibility with a four year track record. I'm really looking for an alternative.

Had a fantastic two week start in December, and then it trailed off. Far less clicks and CPC down too, though we've passed the peak for Christmas advertising now, so I was expecting to see some changes for the worse.

I am totally and utterly confused as to what is supposedly happening according to Google!
Saturday saw my third best earnings' day of the month, nearly double that of the last few days, with traffic being a normal Saturday at about 80% of a weekday. Obviously CTR and eCPM were way up compared to recently plus EPC was about 118%.
My sites used to have really tight metrics with 90% of earnings, CTR etc all being in the same range, so far this month my metrics have been:
Clicks 70.5% to 158.7% CTR 68.5% to 136.9% EPC 67.8% to 139.3% eCPM 60.2% to 158.3% Earnings 61.6% to 150.3%
Now that's a serious rollercoaster ride. Do I assume others are seeing similar these days or am I the only one?
