Yesterday was way down compared to average/normal, my 2nd biggest site never recovered from whatever it was Google did and it had a straight 50% slashing across the board, clicks, CTR, eCPM, earnings...not impressed, that wasn't visitors, that was Google and stupid pricing was definitely involved!
If there is no click dump (I didn't have one yesterday) this will be the worst Adsense day I have had since I started. I could get more change out of a couch than this. It may be time to tell Adsense bye bye finally. Aggravation is exceeding the money.
Just noticed that Google's certified network list is now 245 networks long. Today is better than yesterday but still slow. I've reverted to text-only on some prime positions and they seem to be working out somewhat better. However a few hours is not enough to decide (it might involve A/B testing).
I'll probably have to do that, derivative, There are clear trends over a week with the weekend being traditionally low days. The peak day has moved over the last few years. Traditionally it was Monday, then Tuesday, and now Wednesday. It gets a bit confusing because Google Time is about eight hours behind GMT (seven at the moment due to US daylight saving time).
