Has anyone else noticed this? When I check AdSense for the last 5 days (excluding today) I have x amount of $$$, and when I check those same 4 days in analytics (adjusting for the reporting delay) I shows about 1/3 less $$ and clicks then my adsense account does...which has been extremely down anyway. Anyone else?
Hi New here and a true newbie in the blogosphere. If there is a pamphlet called "Blogging for dummies", it's written for me. Well, for my question:
I started this blog a week ago and the first day after having been approved as Ad Sense user (terminology inaccurate, I'm sure) I had about 60 visitors, which generated x dollars. That day, I could follow the (modest) progress by the hours, almost. However, today, I 've had the same amount of visitors and yet, nothing shows in reports - it says that today's earnings is 0.00. Is this normal? I really don't know what to expect, so I'm happy to have found a fora, which seems to be comprehensible to a novis such as myself.
Talk about a Monday of two halves, the first 12 hours average EPC reported were still 20% below average however the second 12 hours jumped 50% and I ended up with a normal day however the difference in EPC between channels was simply huge bearing in mind my widgets are all the same subject.
On my largest site the highest channel's EPC was literally 250% of the rest of that site...and it's only a photo gallery!
Well today I have an huge traffic spike due to Jayde adding one of my SEO tools to their iEntry news letter. Traffic is three times higher thus far, as well as CTR, but eCPM is staying low, so the ammounts are sad compared to clicks. This is the second time one of my tools was listed in an iEntry news letter. The first time the earnings were great, but now I'm averaging 0.10 a click (at leasst there are many).
Today's stats are abysmal, I hope it's a delay. The moment I seem to gradually recover I get hit with a crazy record low day. Late troubles with Adsense and now Panda... this is definitely my lowest point in the past 5-6 years as a publisher.
My stats aren't slow but my biggest site is today however I can easily put that down to two major widget trade fairs at the same time, one in London and one in Las Vegas...well, that's my presumption and I'm sticking to it:-)
I'm still having an usual traffic spike, so I cannot complain, however I made 6 times more then what I'm making now the last time this happened...again I connot complain...today. When the traffic drops again, that'll be another story.
I cannot complain today either. Traffic is down, but the money is up above my daily average with 8 1/2 hours to go. Although realistically, my site stops earning after 9pm, so make that 5 1/2 hours to go.
