Myself and SugarKane celebrated the first beers of PubCon 4 tonight. (eg: I probably shouldn't be posting at this time. lol. If you log in and find anything really really weird, it can be safely discounted.)

- hotel - most excellent. Everything it was billed to be.
- hotel bar - rather small, but cozy. Micro brewery within one block!
- odds are running 40-60 on a certain WebmasterWorld member making it into the states ;-)
- Top new SEO tips and tricks...as if...you had to be there ;-)

...So is the strategy to spend the rest of the week in Boston building up your alcohol tolerance so come Saturday it'll be just like drinking water?

Hey, I've been "head's down" the past month on a major project, just surfacing for air for PubCon. (Haven't been reading posts, bad boy.) What's the deal with Friday, are people connecting at the hotel bar?

Should arrive Friday morning. Would have liked to get there earlier but too much on the go.

See you all there.

>west coast

Actually, Las Vegas always has good deals. Hotels, great meals (especially buffets), and flights are cheap since they hope to get people's $ from gambling.

But the bay area would be awful nice if it's the right time of the year.

I had my Visa interview yesterday and was approved, now if the Embassy get their finger out I might make it Friday Afternoon. (No guarantees - knowing my luck they will lose the passport in the post)

Thanks Tor, Guess I am used to UK weather, I never believe the reports. They often even get the direction wrong.

nothing beats getting it from someone on the ground!

I will pack my shorts then :)

I kinda knew that 24th wasn't early enough. :-(

Leaving tomorrow morning anyhow. I'll be jumping in the lobby by tomorrow early afternoon, spare up some seo-secrets and fresh beers for me.

Marcia <<Actually, Las Vegas always has good deals. Hotels, great meals (especially buffets), and flights are cheap since they hope to get people's $ from gambling.>>

Mmmmm, Bellagio, Aladdin and Paris buffets. They're fabulous. I'm all for Vegas, as no travel is cheap travel.

<<But the bay area would be awful nice if it's the right time of the year.>>

San Francisco would be great too, since I used to live there and I'm looking for an excuse to go back. October is usually a really nice month there, all summer-like.

England in October, Boston in Spring, Brett, you need to learn about spots like Jamaica, Cozumel, heck, even the Florida Keys offer up better weather than England and Boston... ;)
