PubCon 4 - officially started - notes

Myself and SugarKane celebrated the first beers of PubCon 4 tonight. (eg: I probably shouldn't be posting at this time. lol. If you log in and find anything really really weird, it can be safely discounted.)

- hotel - most excellent. Everything it was billed to be.
- hotel bar - rather small, but cozy. Micro brewery within one block!
- odds are running 40-60 on a certain WebmasterWorld member making it into the states ;-)
- Top new SEO tips and tricks...as if...you had to be there ;-)

We're airport-centric and adverse to high tourism months to boot. I was once asked if I could put one together in the Mid-Atlantic states ...I could, but it quickly becomes a logistics nightmare.

Is there WiFi or Network access within the rooms? If there isn't local wifi is anyone picking up any wireless networks nearby ;)

Yes on network access. Free if you sign up up for their "Wyndham By Request" thingy... I signed up today no problem for tomorrow's arrival (800-347-7559). Plus free local and long distance calls, etc.

Speaking to you from my room at the Wyndham so the network access is working ;-)

Have heard that there's WiFi in the lobby but haven't tried it yet.

If anyone else is here and there's any plans for a get together - I'll check sticky from time to time - otherwise I have plenty of work to do! ;-(

The Yankees are coming!

Just getting over my cold since catching it on Opening Day at Yankee Stadium almost 2 wks ago when it was about 36-degrees and I sat there for six innings. Way duh.
