Anyone else seeing this?

Just checking to see if anyone else has noticed that AdSense stats have not updated for about 4 hours now (as of 9 pm Eastern).

Thanks!

Mine have been an hour or so off tonight, but not by as much as four hours.

Yeah, I'd say about four hours off. I checked my last post when I was complaining about the low epc. That was nearly 6 hours ago. Shortly after that, I saw ten more clicks, then three more before dinner, which was now at least 3 hours ago.

So, OK, the system is funky. What else is new?

Remember, trust all major corporations as they can do no wrong.

This usually means something is changing....are we perhaps seeing the rollout of the new program since both Adwords AND Adsense stats are slowed down?

Glad to see this - mine haven't moved in 4 hours.

I was getting worried. First thing I checked was that ads are still showing up and they are.

Something weird is going on ... Adsense reporting "froze" sometime this afternoon, and hasn't updated in several hours ... I utilize a seperate tracking method to determine how many adsense click thrus there have been, and it is running pretty much normal for a normal wednesday ...

Anyone else noticed this?

Yes, I noticed this also. I was about to post the same thing. Good thing it's not just me...

bnhall... maybe you are right... maybe they are adding new rows/columns for site-targeting. they would probably make a change in both adsense and adwords for that.

Keep your eye on the AdWords thread that Woz linked to - AdWordsAdvisor will likely post an update once there is an update on the situation ;)

Actually, I think the Adsense people have been noticing a decline in the rate at which new pages are being built, with a directly related yet inverse increase in the incidence of stat checking.

I speculate this is an attempt to rectify this deplorable situation and get us all back to writing pages. Unfortunately it seems to have backfired as it has generated an increase in the incidence of "Oh My God! Stats aren't working!"

;)

Not catching up in my neck of the woods. This isn't your typical stats delay, either, with the Adwords side not updating as well and with AWA only hearing about it here.

Frozen for about 6 hours now. Was getting worried! Maybe I still should be?

Cut 'em off at the pass! Our accounts are frozen and G is taking off with our loot!

G is taking off with our loot!

Where do you think they are heading? Brazil? The Cayman Islands? Mauritius? Pitcairn?

Actually this gives me an idea. If Google announced that they were going to update the stats only every four hours--just think how much time that would save all of us! Probably more than the web accelerator....

Ha! Not to mention my clicking finger would probably wither from lack of use.

Ha! Not to mention my clicking finger would probably wither from lack of use.

Perhaps since none of us here have anything to do (not being able to check our stats and all) we can come up with some constructive ideas for flobaby's idle digit to keep it from withering.
The first thing I did was search google to find the defintion of wither [answers.com]. To dry up or shrivel from or as if from loss of moisture. So it seems the first thing you'll need is some sort of moisturizer, lotion, or oil.
Anyone else have any ideas?;)

As you can see, I'm definitely experiencing stat withdrawal myself.

The sad thing is I may be checking my stats even more often now that they are stuck.:(

I've noticed a longer-than-usual lag today, but nothing like six hours.

CPM has been unusually low today, so I wonder if impressions are updating faster than clicks? That seems to happen now and then.
