Just checking to see if anyone else has noticed that AdSense stats have not updated for about 4 hours now (as of 9 pm Eastern).

Thanks!

Petra , my stats have updated in two stages in the past hour in line with what is expected, this points to data not being lost but just withold.

They must be doing accounts in stages as ours still show no change.

Nothing to worry about, folks. This is just the natural progression of smart pricing at work. Seems that even though people were clicking on ads, nobody was buying anything, so smart pricing kicked into overdrive and reduced everything to ZERO.

Don't worry, word has it that it will remain this way until either a. George Bush actully does SOEMTHING to reduce the budget deficit; b. The British elections are over and Blair wins (all voting machines automatically calibrated to produce this result, like in the US); c. Hell freezes over.

Try checking your stats from "yesterday". Mine are updated, i.e., different from "this month." They still suck, but that's another story.

I see the same in Denmark: Yesterday updated. Nothing today.

I'm also seeing yesterdays stats updating. Slowly. I don't think I have them all yet though.

My stats for yesterday just updated. Nothing for today yet.

I was so relieved to see this forum this morning. I added a new site this week and my first thought on seeing the stats grind to a halt yesterday was that Google found something wrong with the new site.

The stats seem to be back online. But looks like I've only got 14 impressions recorded all day!

Stats are frozen no news about that. I read in the forum speculations that the problem may be related to the launching of Google accelerator.

Just in case, I don't know if google accelerator caches G ads or not, but turned on the option "Don't accelerate this site" for my website, just to prevent the accelerator doing invalid clicks. I recomend publishers beta testing the accelerator doing the same.

I asked google support about this and the freezing also, but it will be long fixed (I hope) when I get a reply in 3-4 days.

Q: How hard is it for Google to send an email out to publishers telling them that the stats are going to be down for some time?

A: Not hard and I am sure that it would not eat into their profits.

The data for yesterday is being updated partially.

Equally a note on the stats to tell us they are frozen would be useful too.

But nothing for today so far 9AM EST.

Mine is also updated, but only aggregate data. Channel data is still frozen from mid day yesterday.

I agree. The stats updated, but I'm not sure they are all in yet for yesterday. Until today's stats start appearing, I think they are still catching up.

Agree with BillyS above. Have been updated, but not fully for yesterday. Today shows nothing.

Just saw they updated yesterday's stats. CPM and EPC look normal but the impressions are down by 20%. Wondering..Could it be due to the fact that I use AdWords to drive part of the traffic and it was down/slow for AW too yesterday?

I doubt it, not after they just upgraded the channel stats to be real time.

hmm.. I think Google now spends more time to compute valid clicks.

Same here ... Yesterday's aggregegate stats just updated; nothing for today ... Impressions down about 20-25% ...

Good Lord!
