I wish the new interface for adding an ad group had a wider window for inputting keywords. Lots of what I put in is wider than that window. It's a real hassle to deal with. A taller window would help a bit, too.
Duplicating campaigns
Right now I have a campaign that took me months to tweak, geotargeted to the UK using our example.co.uk domain.
Oh how I would like to have the same targeted to the USA, with minor changes, using the .com domain!
But of course I want to tweak all the bids and spellings and destination URLs.
Oh if anyone has built a tool with the APIs to do that, well then, I will buy. But it would seem so easy for Google to add a "Duplicate campaign" button (and of course the new campaign would be paused until one has made the changes).
Finally, I would also like the synonym broadmatch to be made optional. I'm going crazy adding unthinked-of negative keywords to my campaign!
Last week with the change email Outlook became unhappy with Google. Finally got Outlook to like Google again, and now the new blog announcment has put everything from Google back into the spam filter.
I think Google needs to set up something so that an account can be associated with an MCC and not have an email address, or just use the default MCC address.
You can get servers monitored by a third party, but not so sure about third party management of my adwords pausing... as it happens, servers usually go down when you're hiking in the back woods or your cell phone battery is dead or you just got on a long flight, etc... and we advertisers do need a life - who wants to be tied to an internet connection 24/7?
Anyone - kindly inform me if this service is already available, even for a fee, or as a perk for a certain monthly spend. How do others handle this?
Or, at least in the interim - allow for a link to the ad group within the results for: "No changes right now. See results list" - which I'm forced to use if I don't want to change match type, remove the URL or delete the keyword.
(helpful if you have a long list that you are reviewing and you want to add sites after reviewing them, it's hard to find them again)
-In /select/CreateAdInput an <enter> keyboard stroke (onKeydown) is triggered when you use your browser's (Firefox
1.05 in my case) autocomplete feature. When you select an item from your autocomplete dropdown, the form is submitted and renders errors since you are not yet done with the form. That's a bit irritating, it could be better to only have the onKeydown where it is needed (ie the last form field, or in this case, nowhere).

At present, an 'action' (click, impression, variable) must be used in custom reports.
The ability for the reports to be able to run without that variable.
For instance, if I deselect keywords and select a campaign in the options, and then just click on destination URL, I should be able to just pull that report from AdWords instead of having to also click additional details (like clicks) that I'm going to delete immediately after download.
I'd like to be able to pause a key word. Reason is, if I have some kw like this:
keyphrase imp=2000 ctr=3.2%
"keyphrase" imp=4000 ctr=2.6%
[keyphrase] imp=12000 ctr=1.0%
I see the [keyphrase] is only performing at 1% but if it were by itself and only getting 1% that wouldn't be low enough for me to want to get rid of it. I would like to know if those 12000 impressions would have gone to the other two kw's if I get rid of the under acheiver. But I'd hate to delete it if my thought is incorrect.
Any ideas on this? Has it been covered elsewhere and I just don't see it (i think i bork search on this site all by myself :-P )
thanks,
-Dr.X
