I'll tell you something you might not believe. On Sunday night, a group of us who had been there since Thursday went to a pub across from the Boston Commons, and we closed the place. OK, I know you'll believe that much. But how about this --
For about 4 hours, there was not one mention of the website business between the 8 of us.
When ProfitPuppy asked "what do you do"... and having answered it once or twice sensibly... I said what is fine for most gatherings where there are no Webmasters before eyes glaze over...
I said...
I have a web site. WOW!
I guess by then I was feeling that I was mucking about with web sites, not the professional I had thought I was before the conference :)
Phew, its out now! Thanks for being so polite PP.

Had a great time at the conference, enjoyed meeting all the regulars, and putting names to some new faces. All and all it's what i have grown to expect - a real online community personified in the flesh.
Came away from this one with a surreal hangover, that was most certianly cultivated during the 4 days talking, debating, and picking up new tips. Unfortunately, as you have probably noticed, i decided to stay on a few more days, and so did the drinking. Not whinning - though Boston was a great venue.
Hopefully the next conference in the U.S. will be as stimulating and rewarding, as i am sure that the upcoming U.K. conference will most certainly be.
Thanks to all that made the trek, and hope to see you'se and any others at the next one!
Time for bed - 11.38 am - been awake for 27 hours - pillow - sleeeeeeeeppp!
