If BT stuck to telephone systems instead of trying to lose money on (what should be aborted) internet ventures, we would have quite a good IT structure in blighty!

I'm one of those "in the sticks"..
and because I didn't expect to see a BT thread here I'm going to have my

<rant>
BT threatening to cut off my dial up too same as George, when I speak to them (after being round 10 different operators and getting "put on eternal hold" a couple of times) I'm told to get broadband as I have no other choices..

Guess who's helping spearhead our local Broadband Campaign! ;) (oh and we're not using their "campaign friendly site" either....)

If or when we ever get it I'll be putting my £££'s elsewhere too, but unfortunately I have to stick with them at the minute!
</rant>

I agree BT stick to your phones and leave the internet, webdesign & hosting to others!

BT will loose a lot more customers over the next few months ,exe(my mothers phone bill £150 she changed to onetel and gets a package for £13.99 and can stay on the phone all day if she wants)And bt,s share price has done nothing but drop since end of 1999 thay were £15 now thay are down to about £2 i think that says it all(no i dont work for onetel)
