Previous conferences have attracted more than a thousand delegates from around the globe, and according to conference organizer Brett Tabke, "After the early sell-out of our London conference in September 2003 we anticipate a similar heavy demand from around the world for places at the Florida event." There will be several keynote speeches throughout the event and ample opportunity for delegates to question and meet many of the world's leading search technology companies and executives.
The event is sponsored by major search and marketing firms, including Google, Overture, Yahoo, PositionTech and GoToast.

I expect I'll be going. On the strength of how good this forum is I have to believe this is going to be the most useful conference I'll have ever been to.
All the more reason to get to this conference and pick brains!
> she's in the middle of her Geological Engineering Masters at uni
I'll be there and I'm in the middle of a Master's degree, too! That's not a valid excuse.
> 'Fess up, mivox... Brett put you up to that...
I'm fairly certain he did not put her up to that. ;)
Considering this my declaration of independence from the practice of law. Anyone who cares to reduce the number of practicing lawyers (without resorting to homicide) is invited to participate in my education ;-).

>> Now I just have to buy skimpy enough clothes to prevent heat stroke from the "lovely" Florida weather...
mivox - pack a swimsuit;) I'm looking at the itinerary, and those long lunch hours scream "pool side!" to this girl who's escaping the snow and cold for a few days.
Mona, my apartment is poolside, and there are people out there in the jacuzzi nightly in spite of this ultra-cold weather by Southern California standards.
What those long lunch hours are screaming to me is "Florida seafood." In February oysters *R* in season, and if anyone hasn't tasted Appilachicola oysters on the half shell with c0cktail sauce and horseradish they haven't lived! I lived in Tallahassee all through my "expecting" days, craved those daily and just about lived on them - plus vanilla cream donuts from Dunkin Donuts. Not to mention Florida grouper, mullet and those divine Gulf shrimp. There are "all you can eat" seafood buffets galore, and unless it's changed since back then Florida is literally a seafood glutton's delight.
I'm sitting here and thinking about how totally CHEAP this could be. It's under $200 round trip from Los Angeles, without even having to deal with the agony of LAX. And figuring on the possibility of splitting a room at reduced rates, how tempting can this get?
