Is it Google, Algorithm, or Code?

Questioning why snippets are showing the way they are/

When I search for the term "a certain company" it seems everyone is seeing only one certain snippet from one artist on the actual artist page. I'm wondering what results everyone else may be getting, if you could prove screenshots that would be helpful and also explain if you know what this is happening. I thought that page info snippets are the first paragraph in the page itself, not always the same thing, unless that is something to do with the Algorithm or something, but others are getting different results.

Looking forward to all help thank you in advance

Not necessarily. It might be something deep down in the page, if that’s where a highly specific search term occurs.

Now, if you’re asking whether two people making the identical search, leading to the same page, will be shown the identical snippet from that page ... Well, it’s an interesting question, but I’m not sure it can be worded in a way that can be addressed on this site, given the “no specifics” policy.

@shinsaimdang ... Welcome to Webmasterworld!

For some time g has been generating its own snippets (ignoring Meta, etc) and some of those are based on content/expectations rather than repeatable specifics. Also been known to be inconsistent week after week for the same auto generated snippets. ADD the fact that g also tends to provide search results based on previous USER actions and the results become even more fractured.
