This morning I was awakened to the news that we have a new PPC provider, in the AdOn network using their CPV traffic source. Just peachy... I wanted to do nothing more than research someone new today. One of these days I going to kill Outlook and stop the spam forever ;-)

So I'm looking this program over, and getting a feel for the network. The account we set up was initially targetted to the wholesale side of our business, but after looking over things a bit it would seem that AdOn will drive better retail type traffic than wholesale.

Can anyone share their experience with AdOn. Mostly I'm interested in knowing what kind of traffic you experienced.

Tough crowd ;-)

I've found some interesting tidbits about this CPV program, and thought I'd share in case I'm not the last person on earth to know...

The ads are targetted from browser apps (browsers and toolbars that show ads). The very kind of thing I love to hate!

Normal search type keywords are out the window. Words in the URL are targetted. So if I want to target 'widgets', it now makes sense to make sure 'widgets' is the URL, preferably in my competitors URL. It's different. That means taking my keyword list and creating a new list based on SERPs URL's.

Would still like to hear others experience with this program. Thanks.
