For example, a particular word would be clicked on 200 times using the LookSmart partners and then when I go to HitsLink to see how many referrals we got from that particular search term it would say something like 5. I became suspicious so I did a similar comparison for Overture and AdWords. I found the situation to be the same with AdWords and Overture although not to the same extreme. Ihave the HitsLink code on every single page of my website.
Does anyone know what the issue may be? If I speak to either the PPC engines or HitsLink, they will just point the finger at the other.
