What would be the best PPC's in your opinion for branding & name recognition? Not driving a product per say in conversions, but getting awareness out as an image marketing idea?

That is a tough call. The cost per click has gone up where the "Branding" aspect of advertising is not easily/cheaply done.

Branding is better done on websites and forums that have potential customers that want to buy your product/service. I would recommend even simple banner ads.

Give more info and that will help recommend more.

For branding purposes I find Adwords to be the cheapest. There are many ways of finding a low bid amount by being creative in your key phrases. Try finding variations of your main key phrase and you'll see some bargains even at the .05 level.

Then, you might want to just have your company name as the link and your slogan as the text description. Also, you could upload image banners, they get shown a few times as well and have a very low CTR, in my experience.
