Hi,

I think everybody must have seen this already, but I dont understand.
Sometimes, looking for terms, specially, not very common terms, in google, I found ads to places that are or seems to be PPC engines.
The ad says something like 'search for "yourterm" at theppcengine.com'.
Then go to their site and all you find is a fake search engine with absolutely all paid results, and having adsense on top.
First of all, is this legal? I mean, what seems strange to me is to pay for advertising to the same company you're a publisher, too! (google)
Secondly, do they earn? I mean, clicks at PPC engines like ... those you know, are very cheap, something like a cent or two, instead you have to
pay minimal $0.05 to google to sent you a visitor.
Could somebody explain me this business? (if it is a business).

It's all about the numbers.
Pay $.05 to get a visitor that may click 2 or 3 ads that generate $.xx
