Any advertisers have experience with em'?

Just got a cold call, not familiar with them at all. Sounds like an AdSense type of thing, anybody have any decent results advertising with their search program?

I have had good experience with them.

Here are some advantages.

1) No editorial checks
i.e you may target any keyword
2) Option of Like search or exact search
3) 90% US Traffic

Disadvantages
1) No Daily limits
(But one can set monthly limits).

some time ago we were a publisher partner for Valueclick. The returns were very poor so we dropped them.

Never used them for PPC advertising. We did use Google, but found them to be hopeless, very expensive with a very low conversion ratio between clicks we paid for and sales made, making me wonder if people were just clicking the ad and then immediately exiting the site.

I have just left a question for S123's support people asking why I cannot see our ads when I use their own search box (from the public home page, not from within the account). I see only Teoma listings there, not even any competitor's ads. I regard that as absurd.

We have had a small account with S123 since April and have had zero conversions.

Niche is b2b US-only services.

I have had moderate success with them. There seem to be some bogus clicks, but a fair amount of legitimate traffic that converts a bit below Google or Overture. Overall, perhaps a 50% conversion rate compared to G or Ov, but decent. If they cleaned up their traffic quality a bit, they would be very good. In my experience, they are significantly ahead of Enhance or Kanoodle. Kind of like a 75% Findwhat.

S123 has given us the worst results so far, and with the same keywords delivered the fastest traffic of all our PPC campaigns. Makes you wonder doesn't it?

Recently I had a meeting with a ValueClick rep.

He asked me what I thought of Search123 as he's doesn't deal directly with the PPC.

My answer, "They don't deliver enough traffic that I even bother messing with them. Opened an account over a year ago with them, and still haven't used up my $100).

His answer was basically: That's what I generally hear. Wonder if one day we'll do something with it.

It seems ValueClick bought it because everyone is suppose to own a PPC engine. They didn't even seem to have concrete plans on what todo with it.
