Hi, is £1 per 1000 impressions a fair price?

If you are paying it; it's a fair price. If you are being paid for it I would expect at least five times that on an average site and ten times that on a good site.

Thanks vince, I'm actually offering it on my own site selling banner space. My site gets about 60,000 views a day .. do you think I am pricing myself too low or too high?

Too low. But then again; price depends upon uptake - if you can't sell it higher you may need to reduce the price.

Try running Adsense for a fortnight and see what that gives you in terms of CPM. Definitely do not charge less than that!

Thanks a lot, that sounds like good advice.

Just run a 24 hour test on banners, the part of my site that is running the ads actually gets about 20,000 a day. The rest of the site is made up of normal html so there's no way I can run banners on those pages.
