Their program looks similar to Google's Adwords. LS did add one new "feature" - a minimum budget based on the number of listings you have. This is from their Listings FAQ:

Customers are required to maintain a minimum campaign budget of (i) $15 for every 30 Sponsored Listings or (ii) $750, whichever is smaller.
---

I'm not sure, but I think this refers to a monthly budget (not daily like Adwords).

Hm, LookSmart goes to PPC [webmasterworld.com].

It seem we also had another discussion before that - well, they need to do something now that their losing what, 2/3 of their traffic which comes from MSN?

Also from the 1st:
LookSmart trying to trump Yahoo? [webmasterworld.com] though with a sensational title like that, the news is a bit of a let down.
