Do you know what rights you have if someone is bidding on a brand name which is owned and trade marked by you. Are there different rules in different PPC engines?

I think most of the PPC SE's if you contact them would remove the bid, although I don't know what the legal standpoint would be

I know both adwords and overture will pull all ads from a proven trademarked term (and all variations, mispellings and almost likes). You would need to contact their customer service and they will send you what you need to send them to prove you or the company you represent own the trademark on that term.

The same with Espotting - you need to send a letter with your UK trademark number.
FYI, the UK TM database is online here [patent.gov.uk...]
and the US here (change the drop down option): [uspto.gov...]
