Why do they make it so difficult?

Hi all,
I'm new to PPC ads and have been investigating a few like AH-HA.

On quite a few of these companies, they seem to hide how much the start up deposit is until you've completed the signup form.

On AH-HA, they want me to fill out a complete signup form before I can ask a simple question. Like how much is it?

Is there a reason for this tactic or is it just bad site design?

Well, if they tell you up front, you may leave the site and never come back.

If they tell you at the end of the signup, sure you may still leave the site but they have your contact information so they may contact you in the future regarding their services to keep their site in your mind.

Good answer! hee hee, I knew it was something like that. I just got kind of frustrated having to dig through all the pages trying to find what the minimum start cost was and not finding it.

The main reason is, I signed with a couple that took 2 months to use up $10 (Brainfox) so, at first I don't want to deposit $50 and find it's not getting any clicks. Would rather put in $10 and see how it goes.

I think one of them, was it epilot? where the minimum was $100.

Epilot is quite expensive. I personally think that its just a marketing strategy. The reason is because potential partners will see that high fee and high cpc and will want to signup, even though epilot distributes quite allot of third party ppc search engine results.
