Every one of them writes the FAQ like it will be of immense benefit to us, the dumb advertiser. Fewer creatives, less thinking, more expenditure, merging plurals and singluars together and if we were stupid enough to be bidding on both then we'll end up with one listing that by default will show our highest bid, they'll second guess both what we were looking for as end users and also the advertiser.
So would someone like to define "common" mispellings for me?
I do like the fact that word order has not changed, so at least there will still be double inventory..... blue widget, widget blue.
Sadly, the PPC environment will blend into a "me too" scenario. Because one of the providers can't afford to miss out, they'll all scramble to innovate and bring new things to the market.
3 of the main providers in the UK now seem to be doing almost the same thing, but with different publishers and some minor differences.
I blame the publishers for all this stuff happening actually. I am sure that an immense amount of pressure has been applied, by them, on the providers, or they vote with their millions of users feet and go off for a better deal.
What's going to be the next "this will be good for you" feature.
