I'm having to jump through some major hoops to get set up with these guys, but after reading another thread here I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it.

When looking at the number of people bidding on terms and the cpc compared to the big 2, it seems like a good deal. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of results compared to the big 2 in competitve areas?

In the last year and a half Miva (FindWhat) has had very suspicious traffic and little ROI. They were also involved is some sort of fraud case or improper use of funds - look back in the threads here - before they changed their name to Miva.

We bailed out of them back in January.

Competitive is a bit broad... :)

We've seen positive ROAS for ecommerce clients, but not great numbers -> 300-475%, compared to the big 2 that average -> 450-900%.

Lead based clients do better, insurance, debt. con, mortgage, etc...

They were just picked up by Blinkx.tv to supply ads for them Worldwide. Any ideas what kind of traffic video searchers will include? I am curious if they will be including their pay per call service as part of the package.

With YSM's recent announcement on broadening their editorial guidelines, declining sites that only capture user information for resale (lead based sites), MIVA may be about the only place to go, outside of GAW.

I had pretty bad traffic with Miva back in July. Didn't even get one sale from em.
