guys and a problem a BIG problem for me.

Been on google for 7 days with now sales from about 100 click throughs now - we sell fashion items to the uk market our products are very well priced.

No items sold this is very bad for business.

Have you found that you produce better rates from yahoo? Pay per click that is? Can any body suggest anything please? many thanks

It sounds like you either aren't targeting the correct keywords or the site isn't meeting the expectations of the clickers.

On the other hand there are are some niches where a narrow margin isn't going to allow for a profitable PPC campaign.

An inappropriate keywords that drive visitors but not sales, you should have appropriate keyword(s) to target audience/customers.

You could target your keywords more accurately and try and reduce your CPC.

You might also try Overture/Yahoo.

Have you tried buying something from yourself to check that the site works correctly?

Have you considered offering other ways of paying such as PayPal, WorldPay et al?

Also, basing how well you're doing on just 100 clicks is not recommended, why not try waiting until you've had 1000 clicks? Most people here will tell you to expect conversion between 0.1% and 5% depending on what you sell (can be more extreme, but generally in that area). If your conversion is under 1% then you can't expect a sale by now.

make sure you also have a good number of relevant negative keywords.

For fashion you will get searches for things like "celebrity fashion" or "fashion images" - you won't get any sales out of those!

That will help you target the exact market much more quickly.
