IIS Subdomain Redirect Error

Incorrect redirect on all subdomains in IIS

I have been hosting several sites on my local win 03 server with IIS & SQL. I recently purchased hosting. I have limited coding knowledge and am i designer by trade.

My issue is that ALL subdomains created in IIS are being redirected to an accountstop/firewall page at my newly acquired hosting service.

It all started when .....

I add one of my domains to my new host. I wanted to create a subdomain that pointed back to my local server for a (DNN) site that was in production. I couldnt do this with that service so I deleted that subdomain.

I tried to create a subdomain on another domain to point to that site. (And subsequently several subdomain on several domains that have never been registered/hosted/dns with the host....and ALL of the return the accountstop/firewall page of the host.

After hours of frustrating tech support chats and tickets with both the host and my registrar (NC) to no avail. Neither service had ever encountered this issue or have a solution.

All of my domains and their subdomains except one, point to my local server. The domain url's point to my ip and the page loads when browsed. ANY subdomain created, returned the firewall page.

I have even uninstalled and reinstalled IIS on my server. Reconfigured all sites.....domain urls work, subdomains dont.

I have not set any redirection in IIS, all my IIS entries point to a folder on my server.

Please help! I and many others are baffled.

I assume you have set the subdomain name up in the DNS as well?

I have set the subdomains up in DNS at my registrar.

I am not running a DNS server on my server.

Do you have the Host Header Names setup correctly in IIS?
