ifd someone enters incorrect parameters as they normally do, how do i throw a 404 error?
do i 301 to a custom 404? that doesnt sound right though?

well it throws a 404 if they enter an incorrect parameter. Are you wanting to show them a custom 404 page you build?

Just create a custom 404 html file and set it in the IIS config
