I have a VPS account on a Windows 2003 server with Plesk 7.6.
Yesterday the server date went back to March 30th on its own.
I accessed the server via Remote Desktop Connection and changed the date back to May 30th, but 10 seconds later, the date changes back to March 30th.
I tried several times, and it always goes back to March 30th.

Does anyone have any idea what can be wrong? Is it possible I have a virus?

I have all the windows updates current.

Thanks in advance.

Please disregard.
Hosting company did some maintenance to the server yesterday, and the problem started then. They have fixed it by changing the date via their login.

Just for info, this is likely to be a domain controller issue. I had the same thing, one of my users was complaining cos his clock was 5 mins slow, when he changed it, it changed back.

When a client computer logs on to a domain, the time on the client is sync'd with the server. I changed the time on the server to correct it as it was slightly behind, and this consequently updated all the client computers on the network.

My boss then bollocked me cos he was getting 5 mins less work out of everyone! ;)
