Hello Everyone,

I run windows xp pro and because I m dealing with a problem on my localhost I had the idea to uninstall and reinstall IIS.
During the installation I am asked to insert the Windows cd that contains the folder i386.
Unfortunately, some months ago I moved homes and I really have no idea where the cd is.
What shall I do?

Thank u in advance

not sure if anybody else does this but....
I normally place a copy the i386 folder on the server, just so in the future I don't have to search and find...

Is there anyone you know (an associate perhaps) that can lend you their CD?

another possibility is....
depending upon the file it needs to copy, you can sometimes point back at the /system or /system32 folder on the computer and pickup the file you need...
I believe it tells you what file it's trying to copy, see if you can locate it on the HD...

hope that helps...
(bet you start copying the i386 folder now huh?) :)

Have you tried rolling back to an earlier restore point?

I would buy another media kit quickly, they are only about £20. They might be hard to get hold of in the future once Vista takes off.
