Hi,

My new site is getting 1000 uniques per day; I am planning to advertise more to perhaps 30K /per day.

I know that these stats are quite small and can be even hosted on a $4.45 plan. but what if I wanted the fastest page load times ever possible? what are my options?

I appreciate your thoughts and comments

That would depend on what your pages actually do. Are they just HTML? Do they connect to databases? Does the content change often, etc., etc.

they are uber light text pages, under 4K, all *.aspx, DB driven.

I just signed up for a Virtual Environment hosting, from one of the big names, it's 7 times more than what i pay now, but i am just tired of lousy response times, there already way too many factors in place, i don't really need to guess server's performace too!

Stored procedures and caching are 2 areas that can help you out. Are you already doing that?

I am astonished by the level of customer service this company offers, for $70 per month you would expect at least they help you get started! I think i am going to cancel that.

Can anybody recommend(sticky) any VE/semi/dedicated (.Net) hosting? thanks alot

I can't recommend anybody, but for performance is there any way that you can have your DB and Web server at least on the same hosting network? -

well till now I thought DB should stay where it is; however now i think i should find a way to trasfer the DB (maybe gradually) to the same location as the webserver.
