PHP for a Newbee

Trying to write code in PHP

I am working on a new site, where the web hosting will not support ASP. I just learned includes in Frontpage using ASP pages, but have never used PHP. Any suggestions of where to start?

FYI - working on a 10+ page site that I can have includes in for the header, footer and nav bar.
