I've found that the keyword in the domain name helps in our search results, ie www.widget.com.
I was wondering if anyone has any information in regards if the the keyword is used with another extension, such as .biz, .info, .us.
There are several competitive keywords in our field and I have noticed that many of the keywords in the unpopular extensions are still available. Does anyone have any info if google and other SE's treat www.widget.biz the same as www.ourcompany.com/widget.html? Thanks!

For several years now, and I mean right up to today, I have dominated for my keyphrase WITHOUT the keyword in my domain.

I worked hard on 'branding' and never felt the need to use a domain as SEO. This was suggested a long time ago by Brett, himself, and I took that advice seriously. It's worked just fine for me and it should work fine for you also.

Don't be afraid to buy up the extra extensions if it suits you, I just sincerely doubt their value in SEO.
