Case Sensitive

I was just using the Word Tracker tool analyzing some keywords for one of my clients and saw that:

My clients keyword is 2 letters.

Let's suppose: one two

Now, I see different numbers for:

one two
One Two
One two
ONE TWO

Till date, wherever I remember to have read, I see search engine are NOT case sensitive?

I mean to know Is this just normal behavior of the Search Engine Users and do Search Engines have any impact of any kind on Search Engine Results /?

In the past some search engines were case sensitive.. But I haven't seen any major search engines take case into consideration in quite some time..
