What's the real term for a product

Need help from native English speakers

We have a client who wants us to manage Overture PPC campaign for them. The client manufactures seatings (or chairs) used in cinemas, stadiums, halls, waiting areas, auditoriums, etc. The products are those with a row of individual seats bound together and some of them have arm rests for each seat. The cinema seats can have the seating pad return to upright postion automatically when a person stands up.

First the client gave us a list of keywords, which includes terms like "cinema seatings, stadium seatings, hall seatings", etc., but when I checked Overture keyword suggestions and found out these terms (or related terms) are often used by people who want to find seating chart of those places and book tickets or make reservation of seats.

Since I'm not a native English speaker, I'm not sure if those keywords provided by the client is the real term to refer to the products. So I do need suggestions from native English speaker. The keywords are too important to be used casually in a PPC campaign anyway.

furniture springs to mind.

cinema++ furniture.. and you could do a thesaurus search for words like 'furniture'.

Look up rival products using a cluster engine Kartoo or ATW and there's you answer.

How about theater furnishings or theater furniture? Theater seats could mean tickets, but seats for theaters could be a little closer.

I'd try browsing the related categories at ODP and see what the editors put in the descriptions, in addition to looking through the sites in the category. For as little as they're worth, a lot of sites still cram keywords meta tags full of keywords and synonyms, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to check source code to look at those for ideas.

If you can hit the right search at Teoma, that can be a good source to research related sites and what terminology they're using.

I agree with richard. Use a cluster search like Kartoo and you'll find the keywords related.

The plural form "seatings" would not be accurate in this context, but the singular form "seating" is perfectly okay. It has multiple meanings, but as long as you have a clear, accurate description of the product, you shouldn't have many problems with mis-targeted clickthroughs.
