This way you can see if the keywords you choose are even being search for. No sense putting keywords that arent being searched for. Remember though these searches are a month old. There may be more popular searchable words now becasue of upcomming events. For example Christmas may only have been searched 500 times in the month of May but in the upcomming months these numbers will start to increase. I managed to hit to main pages in google becasue of this helpfull keyword search page.
I also have a question if someone can help.
Bare with me on this. I did a paid submission about 8 weeks ago. My main page is being updated every 48-72 hours which is exatly what my revisit meta tag says to do. It has been doing this for about 6 weeks now (this proves that my submission was succesful). The problem is that the 100 pages I added are not being indexed at all and they are all main text links from my main page which I checked and re-checked to make sure they are working. Now the other day I submited one page using YOUR engine submit and that page is already showing up as being indexed (according to your "Guide/Assesment/Indexing tool of yours. Do you know why my new pages arent being crawled?
But I see many common sites like www.download.com have the same keywords for all pages.
These sites may not be concerned about search engine traffic, or they may not know what they need to do to get it. In the case of a site like download.com, corporate politics may also enter into the lack of a coherent design that considers SEO.
