hi everyone..... can anyone give me the idea about what is the maximum keywords that can be used in the meta tag section and what is the impact on search engine if i have given more than 35 to 40 keywords or more..

Most search engines completely ignore the meta keywords, and the only one that (maybe) uses them gives them little weight. The general advice is to be careful not to put keywords in that tag that you have not used in the text, as it might raise a spam flag.
