Easy question for all you brilliant webmasters, but I need a refresher too.
How many characters and/or words are recommended for the TITLE, DESCRIPTION, and KEYWORDS?
Thanks in advance for the help!

To answer my own question, I found Brett's tutorial pages. How does this sound?
Keywords - maximum 1000 characters
Description - maximum of 150 characters
Title - maximum of 50 characters

From your question I fear that you may consider them of approximately equal value :(

TITLE is probably the single most valuable piece of real estate on you page. It has a high weight with Google, and is the first thing that the searcher gets to see about your page on the SERPs.

DESCRIPTION is perhaps a moderately useful tag, some search engines use it after the TITLE on the SERP.

META KEYWORDS are between very low value and totally useless, most search engines completely ignore them, if any uses them it is with low weight. There was an obituary for that tag on Search Engine Watch a few months ago.
