Anyway I am new at this, but have a question about keywords in titles. What I would like to know is if I want to target a specific phrase i.e map of whatever, is it best to have just the phrase alone or add a few more key words i.e map of whatever and blah blah its just that I have noticed with av that the title of just the map of whatever heads the list and does this applie to other se? I hope this makes sense...Cheers
"Map of Whatever" is a killer title (if "Whatever" is a frequent keyword) It works well with most engines and should be left standing alone. You could start the description like this:
"This Whatever map shows major roads and communities in Whatever and gives driving directions for My-place-of-business....." etc, as appropriate. Notice how the sequence of words is re-arranged in the beginning.
If its a dynamite key phrase and it will run in your title and decription then the higher the density the better, in my opinion. ie keep it short and spread your other words or phrases on secondary pages
If your site is only a few pages this gets more tricky.
ps check the phrase in your local volume engines and directories in NZ
