I have tried to optimise my home page for my top 4 keywords (using IBP), but obviously I get conflicts from IBP depending on which of the 4 keywords I am optimising.

For example, if I'm optimising for keywordA, it wants me to move that to the first part of the Title. The, when I optimise for keywordB, the same.

So, is it better only to have the home page optimised for 1 keywords and then create separate optimised sub-pages for the other keywords?

or is it more beneficial to have the top 4 keywords all on the home page and live with the conflicts.
