Hi,

Whats better for the Title tag?

City + Keyword

Or

City + Keyword, Cheap Keyword in City.

Im mainly trying to do well in Google but this question applies to MSN & Yahoo! as well.

Hi RJ,

I used to do have the second option you talk about repeating the keyword twice, since I moved to only using the keyword once my positions in the SERP's all moved up slightly. So personally I think option 1 is the better of the two but I am sure some others will disagree with me ;-)

Thanks George always nice to see other peoples thoughts.

Me and a friend are having a little competition. Here is what we are doing if your interested.

We made a new page about City Keyword last week the highest place gets a beer from the other.

In my title tag I had "City + Keyword, Cheap Keyword in City."
He had: "City + Keyword"

He out ranks me 1 week on. I link to my page from a website based around the City in question from the home page.
He links to his page from two clicks from the home page and out ranks me.

I changed the Title to "city + keyword" and will let you knwo how it goes.
