Any idea how much traffic & click prices spike?

Anyone have any experience in Halloween merchandise they would care to share as far as how much traffic is likely to spike at the holiday approaches, how conversion rates are impacted and/or how much click prices inflate between now and then?

The other question is can you build organic traffic quick enough or do you have to rely on PPC for holiday niches?
