1.-
Does anybody has any idea of how valuable is to have a keywords, not as part of the domain name, but as part as the address in the form of a subdomain?

For example, if I have something like :
www.section1.domain.com
www.section2.domain.com
www.section3.domain.com

Would that be the same that :
www.section1-domain.com
www.section2-domain.com
www.section3-domain.com

(i.e. having different domains for each keyword/section, web programming for that is not a problem for me)

2.-
Also, what's the latest news about keywords in domain in the big SE?
For my experience I see that both Yahoo and MSN gives much priority to this than Google.
Recently it seems that MSN is even taking this more into account, because I got a 2 months old site, with PR0, to rank on place 18 for an important software product name! (oh, wait, it was actually a Microsoft software product name, could be a trick here? coincidence? )

Yes, it is valuable. Seems you answered the question yourself;-) Yahoo and MSN both seem to be giving a lot of weight to KWs in urls, no matter where they show up.
