I've been using the Overture Keyword Analyzer to make decisions about keyword phrases. So far its done really well for me. I recently paid for Wordtracker for a week to try it out. I've typed in phrases that OKWT says are 1200 last month and I believe its sort on as my page with that phrase gets about uniques per day and is ranked well. Wordtracker says 8 lookups for the same phrase yet i'm getting 5x that for the same phrase when looking at my SE referrals in my web logs. Any ideas?

Hi, beer 234. Well, as you already know, the only real data you can totally trust in is the stuff in your referrer logs: ) That being said, WT and Overture are good tools. And don't forget the Google KW tool. None of them and super accurate. But if you combine all three (and there are others out there) and then follow up on you logs, you're doing a pretty good job of covering your bases.
