can anyone help me with this. I operate mobile phone accessory sites, and need some advice on how best to set the meta tag keywords.
The site offers accessories for many makes of mobile phone.
My question is should I set the keyword metatag to reflect this as a list i.e. Alcatel accessories, motorola accessories, nokia accessories etc or should I set the keywords to
Mobile accessories, alcatel, motorola, nokia etc.
Is the first approach spamming for the term "accessories"?
Also on the web page I have a left column menu where the user can select their mobile make. I only use the make as the link text for the link (e.g. Alcatel) Would I be better off using for instance "Alcatel Accessories" as the link text.
If I do this would I be penalised for using the word accessories too many times as there are approx 25 makes, so the word accessories would appear many more times on the page than it currently does.
The site is mobile-accessories.com
regards and thanks in advance for your help

First, about the keywords. I would personally go with the first option you listed. Each phrase is its own and will be considered as one unit.
I looked at your site and I personally think the way you currently have it set up is good. The way you have it labeled, I would probably leave it the way it is. If you want to optimize more toward each indiviual accessory (i.e. alcatel accessories, blackbury accessories, etc.) then you could do that as well.
That's what I think. Others may have different thoughts.
