hello I have a question, would this be penalized, make a site get banned etc.

My site has 3 keywords, one of them is a compound word some people will search for bluewidgets and some will search for blue widgets, also for the other word some people use alternate words like widget, thing, it.

What do you think if every tipe I mention blue widgets
I follow with a span with the word bluewidget ( hidden to the user by css rules on a external .css), and for the word widget a span with the alternate words also with the hidden trick.

Thanks for comments

AFAIK, search engines don't read CSS files ... yet.
What's the purpose of this?

Uhm...
I am wondering if many webmaster use hidden text (CSS) to hide unrelated but popular keywords...

CSS is fast (no time consuming) and few well placed hidden keywords in H1-H6 tags can make the trick, is it?

Don't be shy tell me if it works ;)
