Should proper names be capitalized in meta keywords?

America or america? Brazil or brazil?

Following advice on this forum, I cleaned up my meta-tag keywords for the sake of
whatever engines might use them. Yes I understand that Google ignores them.

I made sure they appeared somewhere in the page text, most important ones first.
I made them all lower case, _except_ for proper names.

Now I'm having second thoughts. Should I make ALL of the lower case?
.. even proper names like Canada, Mexico, Brazil ..? - Larry

It is my understanding that the major search engines are case insensitive. In other words, it shouldn't effect your campaign one way or another.

Hi GD:

That was my understanding also, at least with respect to the text in the body of a webpage.

Somebody made a special case with Meta Tags, keywords especially however.

I can't look that up just now, too many irons in the fire. Best and thanks - Larry

I'ts important to capitalize proper names in the description meta tag for the sake of your users, but in the KW tag I don't think it really matters.
