Overture Keywords Suggestion tool limitations

Hi,

I have come across some “commercial” softwares that are providing data by querying Overture (and G) Keywords Suggestion tool. I have heard that Overture and G keywords suggestion tools can deny queries due to intensive use. I couldn’t get suffice answer from companies offering those tools and wanted to ask this respectable forum.

Do you know cases when Overture/G is denying queries due to intensive use from one client? Does somebody happen to know the thresholds when user can be banned?

Overall I have only seen minor limiting with the overture tool if multiple queries are done simultaneously. If you go to the inventory.overture.com page through ie and use it too fast you will sometimes get a temporary service message that disappears as fast as it appears. So in that, yes, it is possible for limiting yet a known threshold is not.
